In Santiago Sacatepéuez Guatemala the ritual of kite-flying is a symbolic way to communicate with the dead. It's a it sits within the crater of a dormant volcano surrounded by a mystical cloud forest which refers to the thick fog that came rolling in out of nowhere. There is a steep stairway down to the lake's shore. I've been experimenting with time lapse photography over the past few days.  I warn you, dear viewers, this isn't very good. In fact, it is pretty lame, but it is my first attempt so cut me a little slack. I'll be working on this more in the future, and I already know how to make it better.
